Yesterday was truly an historic day for the early childhood community. On behalf of Teaching Strategies, I applaud President Obama for shining a spotlight on the critical issue of quality improvement for all Head Start programs.
For decades, Teaching Strategies has focused our efforts on providing the most effective early childhood resources to support programs that serve our most vulnerable children and families. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality early childhood education, and today, we wholeheartedly agree with the President’s sentiments: We can’t wait!
Teaching Strategies is proud to be a long-standing partner of Head Start, and yesterday’s important announcement offers us the chance to renew our commitment to being responsive to your needs. Our comprehensive new preschool curriculum system and state-of-the art assessment system were intentionally designed to promote and improve the quality of early childhood programs.
We will carefully review the final designation renewal rule to determine the best ways to support your program and provide effective and lasting solutions. Keep an eye out for further communication from us in the coming weeks that will offer more details.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about Head Start Recompetition or how Teaching Strategies can support your important work, here’s how to reach us:
We look forward to providing you with more information and partnering with you to improve quality and promote accountability for all Head Start programs.
