Ashley is responsible for advancing Teaching Strategies’ mission to provide high quality curriculum and assessment resources for children across the birth to third grade continuum.
Since joining the company in 2012, Ashley has overseen the company’s organizational growth, sales, customer success and support, and partnerships with states, districts, and early childhood providers. Prior to her appointment as President, she held roles as Teaching Strategies’ Vice President of Business Development and Chief Revenue Officer, during which time she developed the strategies and priorities for the company’s sales, marketing, and professional development teams and ensured that Teaching Strategies was maximizing its market leadership position through its commitment to customer success. Throughout her tenure at Teaching Strategies, Ashley has driven the building of scalable and sustainable business plans and practices to ensure the success of our customers, both short and long term, and has worked in partnership with many of the nation’s most innovative public school districts, Head Start grantees and private childcare organizations.
Before joining Teaching Strategies, she worked at Discovery Education, where she held leadership roles overseeing customer success/implementation, sales and marketing. Ashley holds a B.A. in English Literature and Mass Communications from Denison University. She is a fifth-generation Washington, DC area-native, an avid runner, and the proud mother of two young children.
