General and Shipping Information

Ordering Options

  1. Online: visit our online shop

  3. Fax: Visit your cart in the online shop and click “Generate Quote” or select “Purchase Order”. Print and fax to 301-634-0826.

Payment Options

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or purchase order. Checks and money orders are accepted only for orders submitted through the mail.

All mail orders must be accompanied by payment.

Wire Transfers

For those who wish to submit payments via wire transfer, please contact our team at 1-800-637-3652, Option .

Purchase Orders

Steps for paying with a purchase order:

  1. You must first complete your order online and choose “Purchase Order” as your payment option.
  2. Fax a copy of the order confirmation page and the actual purchase order to 301-634-0826 within FIVE (5) business days of placing your order. You must fax the purchase order within FIVE (5) business days or your order will be cancelled.
  3. Once we receive your purchase order, your order will be processed within 72 hours. Your order will not be processed until the purchase order is received.

Sales Tax

Teaching Strategies, LLC, charges sales tax when applicable. If appropriate, sales tax will be added automatically to your online order.

Shipping Information

Typically, in-stock items are processed and shipped within 2–3 business days (Monday through Friday). We do not ship on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Orders from customers who have selected “next day”, “2-day”, and “3-day” shipping take priority. All other orders are shipped within 2–3 business days. We do not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery.

**Rush orders must be received by 12:00 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday, to be shipped that day.

International/U.S. Territory Shipping Rates

International customers may order directly from Teaching Strategies.

Shipping rates are equal to 20% of the total purchase price, with a minimum $35.00 shipping charge. Additionally, any import duties or taxes which may apply to your purchase are your responsibility.

Deliveries will arrive within 5–14 days once shipped. International orders are generally shipped within 48 hours if received by 12:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.


Teaching Strategies guarantees your complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your order within 45 days of the shipment date, you may return the products in their original condition (unmarked, not damaged) for any reason, for a full refund (less shipping charges). All video and software sales are final. Teaching Strategies is not responsible for returned items that are lost or misdirected.

To return an item, please call 1-800-637-3652, Option 3 to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return-to address. Packages received without a valid RA# are not guaranteed to be accepted may be returned to sender. The RA# will help us process your return quickly and accurately and it is the only way to ensure you will receive proper credit for your return.

Undeliverable or Refused Packages

Cancelled or refused orders will be subject to a 5% restocking fee.

Shipping Errors

If Teaching Strategies ships the wrong product, we will accept the return at our expense and credit your account or ship the proper product immediately upon receipt of the returned items.

Web Discounts

From time to time, we make special offers to our customers, including coupons, special sales, and promotions. Special offers cannot be combined.

Web Site Membership Accounts

When you make a purchase through our online bookshop, you will be offered the opportunity to establish a Web site account. You may complete your order without setting up an account.
