From the start of his career, Jesse built experience working across a wide range of industries, helping organizations navigate challenges through technology and software solutions. Over the years, he worked with customers in fields including healthcare, security, libraries, and legal services, developing a strong understanding of how different teams operate and what they need to succeed.

While each role offered valuable experience, he found himself ultimately looking for an opportunity that felt more personally meaningful. He was immediately drawn to Teaching Strategies’ mission and impact on educators, children, and families once he was introduced. The more he learned about us, the more it stood out as a place focused not only on innovation, but also on making a lasting difference.

After joining Teaching Strategies, Jesse quickly gained an even deeper appreciation for the company’s culture, collaboration, and commitment to growth. The organization’s focus on supporting both customers and employees reinforced his belief that meaningful work starts with people who are empowered to learn, contribute, and evolve together.

Recently, we asked him to share more about his background and his experience at Teaching Strategies.

How does our mission resonate with you?

At Teaching Strategies, we are contributing to what I believe is the world’s best possible future outcome by empowering educators to succeed. Teachers and early childhood educators play one of the most important roles in shaping future generations, and the work we do directly supports their ability to make a lasting impact on children’s lives.

What makes this especially meaningful to me is knowing that our work extends far beyond software. Because of that, I never lose motivation, energy, or momentum when it comes to this mission. It’s easy to stay engaged when you genuinely believe in the impact of your work. Knowing that even small contributions can help educators feel more supported, prepared, and successful keeps me inspired and driven to continue growing, improving, and contributing to the organization. Being part of a company whose mission aligns with making a meaningful difference in the world is something I value deeply, and it continues to fuel my passion and commitment every day.

What do you love most about the products and services we offer to our customers?

We listen to our market, and we evolve with the market’s needs. This means that Teaching Strategies is committed to staying connected to the real-world challenges, expectations, and goals of the educators, administrators, and organizations we serve.

To me, this also reflects a culture of innovation and humility. It shows that the company values learning just as much internally as we encourage it externally. Rather than resisting change, we embrace opportunities to evolve in ways that better serve our customers and strengthen outcomes for children.

What is the most rewarding part of your work with Teaching Strategies?

The most rewarding part of my work with Teaching Strategies is undoubtedly the people and the culture we’ve built as an organization. While our mission of supporting educators and improving outcomes for children is incredibly meaningful on its own, what truly makes the experience special is the sense of teamwork, collaboration, and support that exists internally across the company.

What stands out most to me is that the company’s values are reflected not just in how we serve our customers, but also in how we treat one another as colleagues. We are encouraged to communicate openly, learn continuously, and work together toward common goals. That combination of meaningful external impact and positive internal culture creates a very fulfilling work experience.
