WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 25, 2025)– Teaching Strategies, the country’s leading developer of early childhood curriculum, assessment, professional learning, and family engagement solutions, has been named a finalist for 2025 CODiE Awards in three categories:
- Best PK/Early Childhood Learning Solution: The Creative Curriculum for Pre-K
- Best Formative Assessment Solution: GOLDFinch
- Best Suite of Connected/Integrated Solutions: Teaching Strategies: The Only Integrated Ecosystem in Early Childhood Education
The CODiE Awards are the premier peer-recognized program celebrating innovation and excellence in education and business technology. Each year, industry experts evaluate products for their innovation, impact, and overall value.
“Being named a finalist in three CODiE Award categories underscores what makes Teaching Strategies the leader in early childhood education—our ability to innovate where it matters most and make high quality education possible for all kinds of educators,” said Celia Stokes, president of product for Teaching Strategies. “From reimagining pre-K curriculum, to delivering the most comprehensive view of child development through formative assessment, to building the only fully connected ecosystem in our field, we are setting the standard for what early learning solutions can and should be. These nominations are recognition of the future we’re creating for educators, children, and families everywhere.”
The “Best PreK/Early Childhood Solution” award recognizes the best digital or blended curriculum product providing or supporting learning for children ages 3-5. Launched in 2024, The Creative Curriculum for Pre-K is a first-of-its kind play-based curriculum for the critical year before kindergarten that includes explicit science of reading and math instruction to ensure children are ready to enter school, all while providing digital tools that make teachers’ lives easier and keep families engaged.
The “Best Formative Assessment Solution” award honors the most innovative and effective solution for assessing student learning during the instructional process by providing real-time feedback, data-driven insights, and tools that help inform instructional decisions to improve student outcomes. New this school year, GOLDFinch brings together three groundbreaking formative assessment tools in one: GOLD, the leading early childhood observational assessment; Finch formative games; and the Finch literacy screener. GOLDFinch offers a comprehensive view of each child’s development and school readiness—in reading, math, and other areas—and provides educators with actionable data and insights to individualize learning.
The “Best Suite of Connected/Integrated Solutions” award recognizes the best collection of interconnected tools or platforms designed to work together seamlessly, providing a unified experience for educators, students, and administrators. Through its first-of-a-kind SmartTeach platform and accompanying mobile app, Teaching Strategies’ ecosystem makes high quality education possible for all kinds of educators through groundbreaking ways in which curriculum, assessment, family engagement, and professional development are woven seamlessly together. This integration drives transformational ease of use and more powerful connections between school and home.
