Teaching Strategies Recognized for Excellence and Innovation in Early Learning By the Association of American Publishers

May 16, 2016 (Bethesda, MD)Teaching Strategies, a leading early childhood education solution provider, has been recognized by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) for its innovative early childhood curriculum and digital teaching tools.

Teaching Strategies has been named a finalist for two 2016 REVERE Classroom Awards for Innovation. The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos has been selected as a finalist for the Whole Curriculum Award for Innovation. The comprehensive, research-based curriculum provides a strong foundation and rich daily teaching tools to support exceptional caregiving and teaching for children aged 0-3 years, a critical time for development and learning.

GOLDplus® was named a finalist for Innovation in Professional Resources in the classroom. Designed to provide educators with a streamlined, comprehensive solution for individualizing instruction based on each child’s assessment data, GOLDplus® weaves many aspects of high-quality education—assessment, instruction, observation, and curricular experiences—into one easy-to-use platform for educators serving children from birth through third grade.

Celebrating its 50th program year, the REVERE (Recognizing Valuable Educational Resources) Awards identify outstanding, high-quality educational products that engage today’s teachers and students. The AAP PreK-12 Learning Group produces the prestigious awards program, which recognizes learning resources for all ages and in a wide variety of educational subject areas and learning environments.

Finalists were chosen following a three-month long evaluation process by a number of judges in various fields including educators and industry professionals. Each product was expertly reviewed against a comprehensive rubric promoting excellence in all areas of product design and development.

Winners will be announced during the special 50 year celebration REVERE Awards Gala on June 8 in Philadelphia during the AAP PreK-12 Learning Group’s annual Content in Context conference.
