Live & On-Demand Courses
Ensure teachers are incorporating the essential elements children need to succeed as readers with on-demand and live courses that are IACET-accredited and CEU-bearing and count toward the CDA.
Classroom Application
After diving into on-demand and live courses, teachers incorporate best practices and techniques from the science of reading into their classroom and track their progress along the way.
Dedicated Coaching
Teachers connect and apply what they have learned in their science of reading training with the support of dedicated coaches. Whether teachers work with a coach in a small group, 1:1, or in open office hours, our coaches will help them get the most from our program.

Journal and Portfolio
Development
A journal and portfolio will document teachers’ learning and provide them a place to interact, share examples of what they have applied in the classroom, and get direct feedback from their coaches.

No. Any early childhood program will benefit from the certification program.
Although the Early Literacy Certification program is applicable for any curriculum, there is specific instruction in how to apply science of reading best practices to The Creative Curriculum and GOLD.
Yes. The program will count towards the hours needed to earn your CDA.
Teachers will have dedicated coaches who will work with them throughout their certification. How they work with their individual coach is flexible: they can meet with their coach in open office hours, in small groups with other educators, or 1:1.
While it is a 2-year program, teachers are able to complete individual units at their own pace.
Yes. The Early Literacy Certification will benefit early childhood teachers, leaders, and coaches.
The Early Literacy Certification is designed for pre-K and kindergarten with particular attention to ages 4, 5, and 6, including considerations for these age-groups’ potential classroom schedules and how literacy fits into the context of an entire school day. However, the certification benefits all early childhood educators, as the certification program provides knowledge of how a deep reading brain develops, which will support all educators in promoting literacy learning for all ages.
