Teaching Strategies is proud to be partnering with the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE), housed within the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), as well as the Office of Early Learning (OEL), housed within the NC Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
The NC Pre-K Program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-old children. For the 2024–25 school year, DCDEE will be providing The Integrated Ecosystem, which includes The Creative Curriculum Cloud, GOLD, ReadyRosie, and Professional Development Teacher Membership, to all teachers and staff who support classrooms with at least one NC Pre-K child. If you have questions about these resources, please refer to this FAQ document. For additional information about CDA requirements from DCDEE refer to this document.
Additionally as part of the Raise North Carolina initiative, DCDEE is also providing access to online CDA coursework for eligible teacher assistants and early childhood professionals, working in a licensed facility, serving Pre-K children who are NOT in NC Pre-K funded classrooms. Learn more here.
For Pre-K aged children that are not located in the NC Pre-K program AND are enrolled in a program operated by an NC Public School LEA, DPI is providing GOLD to support formative assessment for pre-kindergarten children funded through the North Carolina’s Department of Public Instruction.
For NC’s Kindergarten-aged children, Teaching Strategies is pleased to continue to support the NC ELI. For more information about this program, please refer to this link.
