Without the right tools and support, teaching can lead to stress and burnout. During this 3-hour session, participants will learn how to leverage research-based practices to sustain and support their well-being. Participants will explore the characteristics of 4 different types of stress, including general stress, systematic oppression, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Participants will identify the 5 steps of The Stress Cycle and a discover a collection of evidence-based strategies for completing the body’s stress cycle. Through engaging exercises and rich discussions, participants will learn about the power of self-care and mindfulness practices and will develop individualized plans to combat burnout.

Designed for teachers and caregivers, this 1-day session introduces participants to The Fidelity Tool Teacher Checklist and the characteristics of fidelity of implementation of The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos. In this 1-day session, participants will explore the indicators of strong fidelity found in the tool along with approaches to building relationships and tips for using The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos effectively. Participants will reflect on their strengths and identify opportunities to refine their implementation of The Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos through the creation of an Individualized Professional Development Plan.
