Exploring OSEP Features and Reports Within GOLD®

Tailored to meet the needs of administrators and instructional leaders, this 3-hour advanced GOLD® session introduces participants to the OSEP features and reports available within SmartTeach™. Participants will review the purposes of GOLD® and the role it plays in informing instruction before diving into an overview of OSEP. Additionally, administrators will learn how the objectives for development and learning connect to the three OSEP outcomes. Participants will be guided through the process of setting up and using the OSEP reporting tools powered by GOLD® and will learn how to generate and analyze OSEP reports, including the OSEP Status Report and the OSEP Federally Mandated Year-End Report. During the session, participants will identify the characteristics of fidelity, examine strategies for observing teachers using a strengths-based lens, and learn how to engage teachers in ongoing coaching cycles.
