During this 6-hour session, participants will examine the many facets of STEAM and explore its connection to the objectives for development and learning. Educators will learn how to integrate science and technology throughout the day and will discover how in-depth, project-based investigations support STEAM learning in the transitional kindergarten classroom. Participants will unpack strategies for teaching children about physical science, life science, the earth and the environment, and, through hands-on interactive activities, explore the four steps of the engineering design process.
